What is VHF connection?
Although not required in recreational boats under 65.5 feet long, a Very High Frequency (VHF) Marine Radio allows instant communication between your boat and other boats, marinas, bridges, and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).



The internal structure of glass fiber reinforced plastic antenna  usually includes the following main parts:



1.It is the main structure of fiberglass antenna, made of glass fiber and epoxy resin and other materials mixed. This combination of materials gives the mast high strength, light weight and corrosion resistance, making the antenna able to withstand strong winds during use and easy to install.



2.Corner components : These components are used to connect the mast and ensure the stability and overall strength of the antenna. They are also typically made of materials such as fiberglass and epoxy resin.



3.Supporting structure : the interior of the FRP radome is provided with a supporting structure, which comprises a supporting member, a first supporting mechanism  and a second supporting mechanism. The first support mechanism is composed of a first support rod, a first gear, a second gear, a knob and a first insert block. The purpose of this design is to improve the convenience, adjustability and practicality of the radome structure.



4.Other components: The interior of the FRP antenna may also include the RF connector , the radiator and the feeder , etc. These parts work together to achieve the performance of the antenna.
